Banana Rebel

This is the website of Milton Reame-James, giving news of his recent recordings, biography and his collaboration with James Staddon.

Rainbow Ride

Starting in August 2008 Milton's Musical Journey through the colours of the Rainbow. This collaboration with Kevin Williams and Jeff Ellis is part of the amazing InvAsian Festival at this year's Edinburgh Fringe. There will be a dance version by an exciting troupe and a small Arts Installation. Any news beyond that will be posted later this year.

Banana Rebel

was formed when Cockney Rebel's original keyboard player

Milton Reame-James

was brought out of retirement by singer

James Staddon

currently at the Royal Shakespeare Company

to compose and record the CD

"Top Banana"

The line-up also includes

Phil Beer

from "Show of Hands" on violin. He also played with Cockney Rebel at one point.

Robbie Johnson

the guitar player and co-producer has enjoyed considerable success in France with major acts such as Etienne, Françoise Hardy, Sylvie Vartan and Les Valentines. Amongst other UK work with Madness and Steve Naïve, he has recently been involved with Robbie Williams and his cousin Jonathan Wilkes. Most recently featuring on The Appletons' hit "Don't Worry".

Also a guest appearance as a cat on the album by

This album of exciting new material combines

Many Classic Rock Styles

and modern production.

"A great album of catchy songs and instrumentals"
